This is your direct opportunity to:
Elect delegates and alternates who carry Hopkins County’s strong conservative priorities forward to the County Convention and ultimately to the Republican Party of Texas State Convention.
Help craft and influence the Republican platform—fighting for secure borders, fiscal responsibility, school choice, pro-life policies, traditional family values, and limited government.
Meet your precinct chair, connect with fellow patriots, volunteer for campaigns, and get hands-on in local action.
Step up as a delegate—it’s straightforward and accessible.
Who can participate? Anyone who voted in the March 3, 2026 Republican Primary, or who is willing to sign an oath of affiliation at the convention. No prior experience required. Even if you’re the only one from your precinct, the convention can proceed—your presence and input matter. (As the Texas GOP explains, there’s no minimum attendance; show up ready to lead and make your voice heard.)
From there, elected delegates advance:
To County Conventions March 28th, 9:00 AM, Court House – District Court Room – 118 Church Street, Sulphur Springs, Texas.
All the way to the 2026 Republican Party of Texas State Convention—the largest grassroots Republican gathering in the country—June 11–13, 2026 at the George R. Brown Convention Center in Houston, Texas. (Committees begin meeting June 8.)
At the state level, delegates:
Ratify the party platform and legislative priorities.
Elect state party leadership and national representatives to the RNC.
Kick off the 2026 general election cycle with real influence.
